Overbrook Youth Environmental Stewards

The O'YES program is a new program at the Overbrook Center for high school students in Philadelphia in grades 9, 10, and 11 interested in stewardship and the environment.

Being an environmental steward not only provides the opportunity to positively benefit a student's community, it will teach students valuable lessons about the world around them and how to present their knowledge.

The O'YES program is a two-year program to which students commit. The first year includes a classroom component of 3-hour per week classes at the Overbrook Center on Thursdays 1PM to 4Pm - talk to your school administrators about details.

The second year will focus on application of a student's learning through job development and training in a 6-week intensive summer training and throughout the year in presentations and outreach.
